Embroidered panel depicting St Margaret of Scotland. Cream coloured silk embroidered with gold metal and floss silk threads of white, purple, grey, pink, yellow and peach colours, using satin and stem stitches with French knots and couching. Decorated with faceted black glass beads and semi-circular 'milky' glass beads. The figure of St Margaret is shown wearing a veil, circlet, a loosely medieval style dress with long wide sleeves, and a cloak with a decorative lining. She stands in front of a flag or heraldic hanging with a design of a lion and a cross with four white doves. At her feet on either side is a depiction of a daisy flower, probably a reference to her name, contained within a square shape.
