Charl Landsberg: I think a difficult thing that a lot of people don't understand is that this isn't about 'stupidity' this is about power. It's an easy essay. A person with rudimentary writing skills at an 8th grade level could very easily complete that essay. This was an exercise in power. A white cishet christian woman said "this is how little effort I have to put in to destroy a person's life". This isn't 'stupidity'. She knew exactly what she was doing. Is she qualified? No. Is she particularly gifted in the field she's studying in? No. There is anti-intellectualism at play here, conservatism needs anti-intellectualism in order to thrive, but anti-intellectualism is very different than 'stupid'. What she did wasn't an act of ignorance or not understanding. What she did is a part of the conservative, reactionary, fascist playbook. It's typical christian white woman, "I can do whatever I want and if I don't get what I want I will cry and big angry scary christian white men will come and save me regardless of the fact that I was wrong and I will make everyone agree with me... bla bla... Jesus says so... bla bla... religious freedom... bla bla... more meaningless nonsense." Again, this isn't about stupid. It's evil. She's not ignorant. She's scheming. She knows exactly what she did. The university bending the knee knows exactly what's going on. OU sacrificed everything to suck TPUSA's cock. OU degrees and their education and their academia is worthless now. The purpose of anti-intellectualism isn't to make people stupid, it's to make people obedient. "We write history now. We know we're lying. You know we're lying. And if you don't lie with us, we will destroy your life."
