The Onion launches new bid to take control of Alex Jones' Infowars A lawyer for the Sandy Hook families who sued Jones in Connecticut said they support The Onion's plan.

"[T]hey see somebody... staring into their camera... coming up with conspiracy theories or telling you health hacks that will actually get you poisoned... We're going to create a bunch of characters and worlds around those kinds of things."
