Today's super nerdy project was using #Octoeverywhere webhooks and #n8n to populate a #MongoDB database automatically when jobs complete or fail on my #3DPrinter & then passing the data to a #Metabase dashboard, and also sending custom notifications via #Apprise. It really is a geeky as it sounds
Discovered #Apprise and then #Mailrise recently. Brilliant pieces of software and just what I needed for my homelab/cloud servers - SMTP to notification gateway locked down to whitelisted destinations.
What is everyone using for #Docker management or notifications? i.e.: I’m using #Portainer but hoping to find something to give me updates if a container crashes or has a status change, preferably #ntfy . Any other recommendations from Portainer or notifications? Something through #Apprise ?

If anyone has gotten Apprise Notifications working with Bluesky, please let me know the magic code. So far, so bad.
A web app that I am using has Apprise baked in, but I haven’t figured out how to hack in Bluesky support.

We have a loggerhead #shrike as a regular visitor. He likes to #apprise us of his presence with his shrill call. Also called butcherbirds, they are vicious creatures who impale their victims. Perhaps they should be called Vlad the Impaler birds instead?
