As Long As We Are Breathing at the Arcola – Horror, Acceptance & Forgiveness 'As Long As We Are Breathing' has just premiered at the Arcola. This new piece from writer Diane Samuel and director Ben Caplan, is based upon the real-life story of Miriam Freedman, who hid in a basement during the Second World War to evade Nazi capture. In a sense, her story only began with surviving the Holocaust, as she embarked on a journey of Yoga, meditation and art therapy to find forgiveness and acceptance.

"...issues of identity, trauma, and resilience are more relevant than ever." Director Ben Caplan & Writer Diane Samuels on the world premiere of 'As Long As We Are Breathing' at the Arcola.

Saw the short but powerful one-woman play, #Surrender, at the #ArcolaTheatre at the weekend. Thoroughly recommended if you're in London at some point between now and 13 July. It's also going to the #EdinburghFringe in August, so catch it there if you can.
