The #ArcticCircleAssembly Ocean plenary sent a clear message on #DeepSeaMining 🌊: We know too little about the #DeepSea and once the damage is done, it may be irreversible. ❌ Let’s choose wisdom over haste and apply a #moratorium. 💙🪸 That is the only way to #DefendTheDeep.

The #Arctic is warming fast and so is the geopolitics. 🧊⚠️
As nations eye new shipping routes and #DeepSea resources, fragile marine ecosystems risk becoming collateral damage. Happy to be in #Reykjavik with colleagues to raise awareness of ocean action at the #ArcticCircleAssembly.
