Listening to @arseblog.com and @gunnerblog.bsky.social on the #ArsecastExtra talking about players not being fit when they played, reminded me of a conversation I had with Lee Dixon who said he never played a professional match 100% fit. He always had a niggle and was usually about 85% fit.
