Summary Display Sample of Headshot Portraits of some generic, but original "anime style" character images, created using Artbreeder's AI, through a process called "Image Fusion." Made out of curiosity at the time, when I wanted to learn about AI before I made any opinion about AI. Image Fusion is where you can take multiple images/ stock that Artbreeder itself (usually) provides for you in the Generator and you can fuse/ merge the images to create a new one that is similar to the "parent" images. And while AI Images are not subject to copy-right laws, you can claim ownership of the images you create, rather than Artbreeder claiming the images you generated as their property (like how currently Auto Desk Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Canvas etc is "claiming ownership" on your creations through their software as an example.) Also while some people can upload their own stock images, I chose not to, because I wanted to explore what the AI could do with what it already had on it's website at the time and in 2021, Artbeeder's stock selection was abit limited, so to try to get one that is iridescent or colourful, special etc - was a skill you had to work with, in controlling the level of noise and parent images you used to get the results you wanted. Generations you liked, you could save to your library for show or to blend with other images later to make new ones. For those who were curious about AI (and those who are against AI but still want to learn anyway), Artbreeder is a good site to learn first hand how things like StyleGAN, BigGAN AIs etc work, cuz once you know how Artbreeder works, you will have a general idea on how all the other AIs basically work too.

My 1st exposure to #AI in 2021 was through #Artbreeder, (out of curiosity), cuz pple were talking about A.I alot - & some on twitter were hate bashing about it too. I found articles online talking about real time Artists exploring Artbreeder, so as an Artist myself, I decided to explore as well.
