And that’s Assassin’s Creed 2 in the marathon done! It’s absolutely cliche to say this but it’s true, this is what every sequel should strive to be. A slightly weak second half doesn’t stop this game from being one if the greats!

Wow sometimes I forget that Venice in AC2 acts as the longest story arc in the game. It’s also kinda the weakest part of the game? Like Venic as a map is huge but also pretty awkward to navigate.

Oh that’s right Assassin’s Creed 2 was the first game to introduce us to the voice actor Andreas Apergis into the franchise. This dude stays working at AC because he voices a lot of key roles (most recently being Barnabas in Odyssey).

God I love how raw and violent Ezio’s first assassination is. Perfect encapsulation of an angry teenager who only wants revenge. Plus him just shouting out that the Auditore still live is the cherry on top.
