I'm not able to go to the European Astronomy Festival #Astrofest again.
I can't afford the journey & accommodation & if going by train on my own, it's not safe. My car is so old, it's only best used locally now.
So, I still haven't been to (nor at the main Astrofest) in London yet.
Hope to 1 day.

I met #astrophysics Professor, Derek Ward-Thompson, when I visited the house of late astronomer Sir Patrick Moore in April 2008 (see my pinned & linked tweet) & he was an absolute gem - we both played on Patrick's xylophone! Patrick was in his lounge at the time #astrofest #NAW

Next month is European #Astrofest #EuropeanAstrofest. Much like the main Astrofest event that takes place in #London in October every yr, I'd like to go (to both). The events themselves aren't cheap & due to living in Lancashire, travel & accommodation (+ meals) pushes up the cost. Hope to 1 day go.

Many interesting & amazing things both in daytime (we saw sun spots!) & at night (Saturn: it really is really incredible).
