Ebenfalls beim Messflug #LH2574Falkland an Bord: Halbleiter-Detektoren zur Messung verschiedener geladenen Teilchen. Einer wiegt ca. 250g & ist 11 x 4 x 2 cm groß. 🪶 In Ergänzung dazu: der 40kg schwere REM-Counter zur Neutronenmessung - gut eingepackt im Koffer. 💼 #AtlanticKiss

#AtlanticKiss – #SafetyFirst for science. 🧑‍🔬 The health and safety requirements for the  #LH2574Falkland flight are very strict. Therefore, the Lufthansa crew, the @DLR_de research team and the @AWI_Media colleagues have spent the last two weeks in #quarantine in a hotel.

#AtlanticKiss: #SafetyFirst im Dienst der Wissenschaft! 💪👩‍🔬 Die Hygieneanforderungen des heutigen Flugs #LH2574Falkland sind extrem hoch. ✈️ Daher leben die Lufthansa-Crew, das DLR-Forscherteam & die @AWI_de-Kolleg/innen seit 2 Wochen in einem Hotel in Bremerhaven in Quarantäne:
