Saw a monitor lizard when we stayed on Tioman island, off the coast of Malaysia, some time ago. It was nonchalontly walking through the grounds of the hotel we were staying in. My wife freaked, she thought it was a crocodile. #Asia #BBCAsia #BBCNature #BBC

David Attenborough getting human/wildlife conflict completely wrong on #BBCASIA
Feeding wild elephants at the roadside isn't a sign of mutual respect. It puts both parties at risk. And farmers don't tolerate the odd cow being killed by tigers. The tigers need protection but so do livelyhoods.

Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to photograph some Tigers in #ranthambore NP, #rajasthan, #India. This sub-adult posed on a rock for a while, which made up for the hours of demonstrating just how good it was in disguising itself in the undergrowth!
