I caught a really nasty bug at #BES2025, which has already ruined Xmas a bit. Luckily not Covid but feels just as bad. The downside to going to pre-Christmas conferences!

At the @britishecologicalsociety.org, we ran a #SilentAuction for 2 books & on the final day the winners of the highest bids came to collect their books.

🦫Research on Britain’s beavers gave us lots to chew on at #BES2025
We heard from two ecologists at @stir.ac.uk about their research looking at how land use impacts beaver behaviour and an overlooked nature-based solution these recovering rodents could be providing.
