Autumn leaves litter the ground and obscure the opposing au ra's face.
HANCOCK, thinking: Surely even a warrior of their stature requires armour...
SOU SETA: (nods confidently)
HANCOCK, thinking: ...but they seem confident. It would be foolish of me to doubt their expertise in the field of clobbering things.
SOU SETA and the OPPOSING NINJA charge towards each other on the autumn battlefield.
SOU SETA successfully evades or absorbs with Dark Arts the OPPOSING NINJA's various attacks. As they fight, the autumn leaf colour appears as grazes and bruises on Sou's face. It also becomes clear that the OPPOSING NINJA's face is entirely obliterated by this colour.
HANCOCK, thinking: ...I see. They don't wear armour because
HANCOCK, thinking: they entirely outclass--
HANCOCK's thoughts are abruptly interrupted and the panel structure destroyed by a sharp spike of earth with a (sfx SHUNK), which strikes SOU and knocks them into the air.
Leaves blow in a thick swirl with (sfx SSSSSHHH) and the backdrop darkens as SOU falls, towards a dark pit where the earth spike just was.
Spooky season? Ok post AUTUMN RIVER'S END 👍
