5R: A dribble of water adds more fat and some cinnamon to the nose, while the palate gains some walnut nuttiness

P: meaty, smoky and lemony; sweetcure smoked bacon, maple-glazed roast ham, lemon pancakes. Finish is quite dry, with buttered burnt toast and marmalade

#BlindDrams 5 Dot: Palate is chewing a lump of wet peat with a lingering coating. A sticky fried onion with balsamic vinegar coating sits on the palate before it leaves a long lasting phenolic note to finish a cracking dram

Nose - Smoky, caramels, varnish, brown sugar sweet

Palate - Some peat and bitters, rolled into sweet sugars and nicely balanced with some vegetal herbal notes.

Finish - Smoky, peat, sweet, touch of bitters and caramels

Dram 4

Nose - Coastal air, pear drops, herbal and salty.

Palate - Pear drops, sweet herbs, spicy kick

Finish - Carrying through the pear drops to the end and a bit of spice and bitterness

Nose - Wood varnish, leather, oak, notes of caramel.cocoa
Palate - Varnish, cocoa, sweet caramel, white pepper spice kick
Finish - Caramel and chocolate and leather and varnish
Score 4 - All the right notes well balanced, but complex enough to want to spend more time with. #BlindDrams #BTC50

Dram 5 palate: like a red berry steak sauce poured over smoked bacon, very nice indeed. Could be high ABV, despite this it's very smoooooth...

Dram 2
Nose - Closed, notes of caramel and pear drops, ocean salty breeze, hints of cocoa.

Palate - Chocolate caramel sea salt mousse.

Finish - Chocolate sweet and salty

Score 3 - A dessert whisky for sure almost Bailey’s esk. Easy drinker maybe a little too easy. #BlindDrams #BTC50

Dram 1 Palate - More pineapple sweets, salt water taffy, pear drops with a kick.

Finish, - Continuing the sweet shop theme all the way through with a salty end.

Solid dram, not very complex.

#BlindDrams 5 Dot: warm Gold in colour. Lots of small beading but legs take for even to develop. Nose delivers fire! Damp peat smoke, Arbroath smokies, smoky bacon crisps.

N: smoky bacon fat! Frazzles, pan-fried maple cure bacon, bacon fat.

Dram 4 nose: sweet smoke and meaty, like a burnt fruitcake. Smelling nicely balanced.

4R: a dribble of water adds a hint of tobacco to the nose, while the palate loses some syrupy texture and sweetness but retains the fruits
