#Bakung has weakened to a tropical low. TL 03U will strengthen as it passes south of #Christmas Island this weekend. Regardless, this storm will have no impact on land.

TC #Bakung remains WNW of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands with TL 03U off northwest #Australia which should pass S of #Christmas Island this weekend. TL 07U is in the Arafura Sea & can move south & bring heavier rain to the #TopEnd late this week or weekend.

TC #Bakung is weakening WNW of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands and should dissipate over the next few days. TL 03U is ESE of #Christmas Island & can strengthen as it moves west the next few days. TL 07U, N of the Top End, should remain weak but can enhance rain in the Top End this weekend.

Way out west of the Cocos Islands, Cyclone #Bakung moved into the Australian AoR on the weekend as a tiny, yet potent cyclone- intensifying to a category 3. The 2nd of the season now.

Tropical Cyclone #Bakung has formed northwest of the #Cocos (#Keeling) Islands. Bakung will slowly move west into Monday before hooking back east but the storm will be no threat to land.
