I forgot that the film #BallisticEcksVsSever was made in 2002 - a time when the CIA exercised A LOT of control over the ways it was portrayed in Hollywood movies.

In closing, I will say #BallisticEcksVsSever is a total farce. So farcical, it’s a film I LOVE! It is clear that the best friend who sent me this DVD - knows what kind of movies I love. I’m touched. #SoBadItsGreat Ⓐ

To sum up, #BallisticEcksVsSever is one of those nonsensical action movies with lots of gunfire/explosions/car chases, while mediocre generic rock music plays. Hardly any character understands the motivation behind ANY violent action they take. Jesus would say: “they know not what they do”. Ⓐ

#Ecks (paraphrased): “When I lift my foot [off this bomb] - I guarantee you won’t walk away.”

In the final showdown of the film #BallisticEcksVsSever, an army of DIA agents try to kill the heroes. But ten million strategically placed bombs await the DIA! However, ALMOST ALL of the bombs explode without harming anyone (we see continuous explosions knocking DIA agents off their feet). Ⓐ

It is much later in the film #BallisticEcksVsSever, where we learn the significance of some exploding cars (that instead of incinerating #Ecks, merely knock him away from the blasts - as is typical in action movies). Also, we see that he and his wife are made for each other - they’re both morons. Ⓐ

Also in the film #BallisticEcksVsSever, there is a pointless government agency called the DIA. WHAT is the DIA? I don’t recall any explanation. What were they AND the FBI doing in Canada - and shouldn’t the CIA be handling that assignment? Whatever happened to the Central Intelligence Agency? Ⓐ

So in the film #BallisticEcksVsSever, #Sever is a disappointingly well-meaning female, caring for a male child (to whom she feeds disgusting hospital food) in a jail cell in her batcave (clearly inspired by that of #Batman). Also, she kills about about a hundred(?) DIA agents in Vancouver, Canada. Ⓐ

So the bizarre/confusing title of the film #BallisticEcksVsSever strikes me as a case of some Hollywood executive twit thinking “It’ll REALLY throw the audience for a loop when they realize #Ecks and #Sever AREN’T ACTUALLY OPPOSED TO EACH OTHER”. Ⓐ

To begin my #RidiculeReview of #BallisticEcksVsSever - we must start with the tagline on the DVD case: “Your most dangerous enemies are the friends you’ve double-crossed.” Excuse me, but to WHOM is that tagline referring? Is it #Ecks and the boss villain? Because I wasn’t aware they were friends. Ⓐ

I must point out my #BallisticEcksVsSever DVD came in the incredibly shitty (cardboard and plastic) DVD case that #WarnerBrothers stopped using decades ago - because we DVD collectors FUCKING HATED THOSE CHEAP-ASS DVD CASES. People were LESS INCLINED to purchase DVDs packaged in those DVD cases. Ⓐ

Saw #BallisticEcksVsSever - a film (made in the twenty-first century) that has already achieved a legendary status for its shittiness. This is a movie I’ve been meaning to see, ever since I saw the #SiskelAndEbert episode WAY BACK IN THE DAY when the film was originally released. Ⓐ

So yesterday I watched the #Orgazmo DVD one of my best friends got me for Christmas (a film we’re both fans of). And now, I’m gearing up to watch the #BallisticEcksVsSever DVD he also sent me - he said it’s a shitty film that should be included in my movie collection. I hope he’ll be proven right! Ⓐ
