On the first page of “A Very Late Valentine’s Day Special”, Lillian Hawkins (the goth death’s head hawkmoth fairy) thinks about how she and Chuck missed this year’s Valentine’s Day because he’s being hunted down by the humans. Hunter Scriver (the elven editor) gives Lillian a letter from a “special someone”, and Lillian opens the letters.
Lillian Hawkins (the goth death’s head hawkmoth fairy) opens a letter written by her boyfriend, Chuck, and started reading. Chuck Blackwood (the unpredictable black shuck in human form) wrote that he is sorry if the Valentine’s Day letter arrived late since he have to find a way to send it without being spotted by the humans, and he also have to send her a gift that he made with what he found. Lillian is saddened by the situation, but then she got an idea on how she’ll send something special back to Chuck.
Lillian Hawkins (the goth death’s head hawkmoth fairy) stands on a hill and holds the gift that her boyfriend, Chuck Blackwood (the unpredictable black shuck in human form), has given to her. Lillian spoke an incantation to the wind, as she asks the wind to have her kiss be delivered to Chuck. She kisses a leaf and let it fly in the air.
Elsewhere in a forest, Chuck Blackwood (the unpredictable black shuck in human form) contemplates on when will the humans stop hunting him down, as all he wants is to be reunited with Lillian Hawkins (the goth death’s head hawkmoth fairy). Suddenly, the leaf that Lillian kissed flies towards Chuck’s face and left Lillian’s kiss mark. Chuck realizes that Lillian used a spell to make the leaf deliver her kiss, then he smiles as he says “Happy late Valentine’s Day, my queen.”
