We have a cute little cafe (Fenwick Cafe) here in #Balmain with nice views of the bridge.
It’s a bit on the pricey side but it’s nice to come down here, grab a tea or coffee and do some writing.
Or even just a water pit stop when we’re on the dog walk and it’s warm (like now!)
“Fern Villa” Built in 1842 by Henry Davy. The renowned Australian artist Tom Robert’s (1856-1932) considered by many as the father of Australian Impressionism lived in this cottage from 1896 to 1901.
There’s always little random bits of colonial history popping up around where I live that I never have any idea about until we are out on our dog walks.
