I showed up at the branch. I went to a teller I hadn’t seen I cried.
They were genuine tears. Though not tears of sadness but instead utter frustration.

I enlisted help from the hospital social worker who corroborated that my father was in hospital, incapacitated, cognitively impaired and dying.
No luck. The dying father was required.
