I recently took part in the #BatonofHopeUK #suicidepreventionawareness event in Derby. This is a poem written and performed by myself , especially for the event but also for everyone touched by #suicide.

On Mon 22 Sept, the Baton of Hope UK Tour came to Maidstone, travelling from Maidstone Barracks to Mote Park. Carried by those affected by suicide, it was a moving display of advocacy for mental health. We were honoured to host the Baton and its bearers. #BatonOfHopeUK
