On #ThisDayInHistory in 1999 was the #BattleInSeattle -- massive protests against a (#WTO) #WorldTradeOrganization meeting, from across the political spectrum. I was there in #solidarity with unions, truckers, & thousands of others, united against oligarchy & corporate greed.

Honestly, in 1999 we warned about the consequences of the WTO.
