Back in the 70s & 80s growing up in South Tampa, there used to be a LOT more moss on the trees. Now it’s getting rare to see this much moss because of climate change. When we would go camping as Girl Scouts, we used the moss as packing cushion, under our sleeping bags in our tents and used it to scrub our cooking pots.
