At the top of the photo is a grey box with yellow text, I successfully taught my dogs to stare at me for a long duration while I eat.

They have a long, strong reinforcement history of food being shared with them, and we are (obviously) good with that! We also have a cue that lets them know when nothing is available. Oh, those sweet, beautiful puppy eyes! 😂🥰
