Prototype testing, twelve 10mm black stainless steel beads, on red 550 paracord as a single string 35.20 gram begleri. I kinda like it.

Left AroundSquare MK-Ultras long form Delrin. My logi mouse & Timber by Jalapeño eyeglasses for scale. Far right the mini black 6x7mm barrel stainless steel prototype komboloi I built the other day. Just to the left is a new build with black stainless steel 10mm beads, a pair of 8mm for separators, using another 10mm SS bead for a cinch shield. I plan to tie 3 neat snake knots, which is why there's so much excess aramid cord for the tail. Trialing six beads various sizes for tail decor, might remove 3, haven't decided. These act as counterweight, and extra material to catch the komboloi in case I drop it. This set weighs a very nice 97.40 grams. 🤠🤙📿 Left over tail cuttings will be repurposed for begleri maybe.

I generally use 550 #Paracord for mine, and I've just discovered #Kevlar cord is stronger, abrasion resistant, is nearly indestructible.
