Just to the left is a new build with black stainless steel 10mm beads, a pair of 8mm for separators, using another 10mm SS bead for a cinch shield. I plan to tie 3 neat snake knots, which is why there's so much excess aramid cord for the tail. Trialing six beads various sizes for tail decor, might remove 3, haven't decided. These act as counterweight, and extra material to catch the komboloi in case I drop it. This set weighs a very nice 97.40 grams. 🤠🤙📿 Left over tail cuttings will be repurposed for begleri maybe.

Quick black and white description of how to perform the noisy method, of palm catching of komboloi beads. With this method, the beads are separated into two distinct groups on each end of the string. The user then holds the string in the very middle, the empty space between the beads. Upon doing this, they swing the back line of beads up and over their finger to where it clangs against the other line of beads. Once this is done, the user places their fingers in the space it had been previously and repeats the process.
It helps to keep fingers and wrists supple - via stretching and of course my all time number one favorite - repetitive #komboloi swinging and flipping. Look for video's. There are lots of ways to use komboloi. But the loud method helps keep your wrist supple. #Favorite #FocusTool #ADHD

Yes! I do use them for that purpose too. I have injuries to my knuckles on both hands and occasionally they'll be stiff. After a few minutes swing-flipping my #komboloi all the stiffness goes away. 😄🤙📿
