Not only was Putin recently forced to admit that his claim that Ukraine had been completely driven out of #Kursk was "premature" (i.e. a lie), but they're actually launched a second incursion into the oblast. Oh, and they're still in #Belgorad too!

Russia's war is wilting on many fronts. Ukraine liberated a number of villages in Luhansk inc. #Nadiia, the first in three years. In Donetsk Ukraine regained ground around #Pokrovsk & #Toretsk, & they continue to hold ground in Russia's #Kursk oblast & increase captured ground in #Belgorad.

If Ukraine continues to push north & can link up with their remaining forces in #Kursk they will create a considerable & continuous buffer zone between their Sumy oblast & the Russian oblasts of Kursk & #Belgorad.

Despite hard resistance Ukraine increased its territorial gains in #Belgorad, appearing to have launched another axis of advance further north from Myropil's'ke to capture a large pocket from southern #Kursk down to Demidovka which they now occupy, forcing Russia defenders to retreat.

Ukrainian numbers are unknown & they have met varying levels of resistance (more than their initial advance into Kursk), losing at least one T-64 tank & possibly a Bradley IFV to FPV drones. It was also reported they destroyed a Russian command post in an artillery/HIMARS strike.
