some wetlands with a grassy shore, and a slightly leaning telephone pole, with a wire hanging over the water
From another roll of film I got back today. This was taken with a #Voigtländer Bessa folding camera.
The previous batch I took with this had a lot of poorly focussed shots, so I was worried that something was up with the camera. These mostly came out pretty well […]

two trains with a central platform
a cement bench, with embedded leaf patterns, on a woodsy walk
Rounding out the roll. Two VTA trains at Mountain View, with a bit of a dramatic sky, and a cement bench at Sequoia High School, Redwood City (it's a nice campus).

a rack of empty wine glasses glowing with sunlight
the same, I just tried two variants of this shot
Only time I've ever taken film pics in my office. I wasn't invited to this party but I got nice pictures out of it.

cable car crew pushing a car around the turntable
view straight up a medium-height brick apartment building with bay windows balconies with rounded corners
Some more #Voigtländer shots from around SF. If you walk around the City with a camera you're going to take a picture of a cable car sooner or later. This is at the Powell & Market turntable.

View under the Roxie Marquée.
Steps to the top of Portrero Hill.
The next batch of fresh-from-the-lab negatives are from a #Voigtländer
folding camera, which is definitely a step above my usual box cameras in quality.
These are from a day we walked from the 22nd St CalTrain station over Portrero Hill to the Roxie (I think […]

same alley in Chinatown
SF Muni PCC Streetcar
Here's a couple I took on the same outing, with my #Voigtländer bellows camera. (The light leak it had earlier seems to be fixed now; thanks to all my fedis who gave helpful advice on that).

two crows on an outcropping over the ocean
a cute bus
a foggy morning on my street
Devil's Slide trail
Just noticed these four pictures I took with the #Voigtländer #BellowsCamera have a consistent splotch in the lower left.
I wonder if there is a light leak in the bellows.
Or could some smudge on the lens cause this?
I see this consistently in the pictures […]

classic brick 2-story commercial building, which now contains the Coffee Bar
same building, more of an angle, so you can see the Coffee Bar sign sticking out
building next door, which has a crest giving its date of construction as 1910 A.D., topped by an eagle
A few pictures from the #Voigtländer. #BellowsCamera, This is in downtown #redwoodcity.
I've been thinking a bit about what the quality difference between box cameras and a "real" camera like this is. I think overall I get more *consistently* better results […]
