What ails the Maple #Leafs? Lack of cohesion. They haven't played as a team since Craig #Berube took over behind the bench. They still look like they've never played together before or have enough creativity to overcome Berube's so-called 'north south' game, which is a non-creative approach.

Thank you #Leafs d-man Jake #McCabe, who says rookie Easton #Cowan is getting better and more comfortable every shift. He's right. He's seeing what we're all seeing. Cowan needs an extended run with #Knies and #Matthews. But #Berube has a history of choosing veteran journeyman over young guys. Sad.
Any hockey keener with a brain can see that #Leafs rookie Easton #Cowan has the chops to not only be good on the first line with #Matthews and #Knies, he could become great. Energy to burn, slick puck sense, and ain't afraid to hit. But coach #Berube will likely soon replace him with a vet.
Attention #Leafs coach Craig #Berube - when your team possesses the puck, that's defending. Blindly firing the puck back to the bad guys time after time after time might temporarily alleviate pressure, but it just sets up another offensive wave coming at you. Geezuz. Stop ring-it-around-the-boards.
