I don't know if I have a favourite #fantasy #book for 2025. But I know the worst one! I wanted to like #Abercrombie 's #TheDevils, the villains doing good exposition is still fine! Hell, this book was childish, full of crappy pseudo-jokes! I gave up! I don't care how many #bestoflists it appears on!

I have a 2024 list, but I’m waiting until the end of the year because there tends to be slept-on releases in December.
That said, if I were an indie label, I’d drop all my best material in Sept-Nov to ensure I got attention from editorial depts assembling EOY lists.
