Rishi Sunak seems to have ridden the #betgate storm with his net approval creeping up ever so slightly. He plunged to a new approval low recently – however his net approval is up by two points to -28.

Labour has written to the head of the Gambling Commission urging the organisation to name those it has placed under investigation because it is "in the public interest", and that "ongoing speculation... is casting a shadow over the election".

Gambling Commission has written to leading bookmakers asking for details of bets of £20 or more made on the election date shortly before Sunak announced it.
Previously it was reported that they were investigating bets of £100 or more.
