“Between Time and Timbuktu” (1971) is based on the writing and philosophy of Kurt Vonnegut Jr. The screenplay was written by David Odell of “The Muppet Show” fame with contributions from comedy duo Bob Elliott and Ray Goulding and Vonnegut himself.
