Finally added a HUD! Now you can see how quickly you're going to 💀💀💀. Progress! 😅 The portrait thumbnail is dynamic for the Mimic, so it updates to whatever they are transformed into.

Added health bars to the hunters that appear when they are within range and a nice damage overlay so the hunters know they are getting about to get gobbled.

Got The Mimic's basic attack done today. When the Mimic is standing still, they can "crouch" to stop their model rotating when they look around. This also summons a magic circle. If a hunter steps into the circle, the Mimic can attack!

Made a real nice character light. It uses a randomly animated cookie to give the light movement, and has a subtle, intermittent flicker. 💡

The line art shader is looking pret-ty cool too! 🖌️

Got first/third person camera switching working with zoom and the mimic can lock the rotation of their character model so they can look around without moving 🎥👁️

Today on Networking Is Hard.

Started making a Game Manager for #BewareTheMimic. ATM it locks movement before all the player are loaded in, chooses a random player to be the mimic, and only enables the mimic ability on that player. It's rough but a start!

Now the Mimic can transform into any physics object and is fully controllable with great ground and wall checks :)

Also added a reticule, and objects that can be transformed into are highlighted when hovered over.

Working on the Mimic mechanic. The rooms are procedurally generated with physics objects that can be knocked around, and the Mimic can transform into them to disguise themselves. They can lock their rotation to hide better. Very similar to Prop Hunt.

Switched from #Fishnet to #Purrnet. Really needed to get physics working on the network with minimal lag and Purrnet + #Purrdiction is managing it :) The doors are physics objects and no noticeable lag between host and client ^_^
