We saw winged fruits in an earlier post; here are winged seeds. The capsules of Tabebuia aurea open to release dozens of seeds, each with a papery marginal wing that increases drag to slow the seed’s descent through the air column. #Bignoniaceae #dispersal #Botany 🌾🧪🌱
