Do you know about @youthenroute.bsky.social? They are a Calgary-based organization working to empower healthier youth to have the agency to get around their communities safely. We 💙 them! 🚲
Hope to see you at CycleFest on June 6th in Calgary!

No idea if this is feasible/impactful but on behalf of #yyc’s #ClimateChange & #bikeyyc communities if there were a water fill-up station along the bikepaths we could fill our water jugs at, I bet a lot of us would take you up on it. We’re a hearty sort & we care about helping this city #yyccc
Reminder to register for the Bike Calgary AGM - there are some great door prizes for registered attendees! And don't forget - supervised bike parking. #bikeyyc
We had such a fabulous #KidicalMassHfx ride in Bedford today!
Here are my highlights in Bingo Card form. Did you attend our ride? Or another Kidical Mass ride this weekend (maybe #BikeYYC)?
Fill out and share this bingo card, courtesy of @frpaul1.bsky.social!

"What do you think when you see these politicians focusing in on #BikeLanes as a political tool? What are they hoping to accomplish with this? We know they're not basing their arguments on real information. The court case proved that. Why are they doing this?" #yyc #cdnpoli #onpoli #bikeyyc #Climate

Easy to think of e-bikes as a toy or fad . But compared to the purchase, maintenance and operating costs of a motor vehicle, especially in urban environments, they offer serious value and convenience.

The Calgary Metropolitan Region might be under Extreme Cold Warnings right now but this region has some of the most dedicated bike enthusiasts. When Nose Creek is solid you see exactly how much people want active mode pathways in this area. #SaveNoseCreek #BikeYYC #yycBike #yyc #RockyViewCounty
I put in a 311 ticket last night for a cycle path that had not been cleared since the Saturday storm (valley ridge blvd - 109 st nw) . This afternoon it had been done . Coincidence? Maybe. Thank you city of Calgary 👏

Check out #bikeyyc later in the winter for some real badassness. -4F is my cut off, but I’ll often give myself a break at 10F 😉 mostly the trick is good clothing and mental game.
Nicely done @DandyAlesYYC, nicely done. #bikeYYC
