We started the year at 9187 species across the world and we are now at 9630! 70 were added this last month!

If you have been following the challenge since 2021, you have seen ca. 80% of the bird of the world in your feed!!

For the fourth year in a row,🥇Brazil achieve victory in the #BirdsSeenIn challenge, reaching the 1k species mark! Congrats!!

🥈Second is USA with 729 species and

🥉just on their tail, India with 714 species!

Another interesting stat is that we blew away the number of species recorded in the challenge since 2021, with 7796 species entered across the world!

It shows the increasing participation to the #BirdsSeenIn challenges with the years, and that's awesome!

Continue the trend in 2025 :)

Dear all, looking at the data of the #BirdsSeenIn challenge, we just crossed the 9000 species tick between 2021-2024 during this November!

Only 2097 species to record in order to check all the species listed in the checklist of the IOC 13.1!
(But more species arrive in the 14.2)
