With $1,500, a phone, and a dream, Janice Bryant Howroyd built a business empire. In 1978, she founded ActOne, a workforce solutions provider, which is now a $950 million business. The agency, where she still acts as CEO, now operates in 19 countries, employs 2,600 people worldwide, and serves more than 17,000 clients. It is the largest privately held, woman- and minority-owned workforce management company in the United States. Every photo of this woman looks like AI. She is simply that pretty.
