I went to go see #bladerunnerlive last night at the #mesaartscenter in downtown Mesa, Arizona. A group plays the soundtrack live with the movie being shown on the screen above. The version of the movie was the "Final Cut" version without the ending originally in theaters. I really enjoyed it.
It was #BladeRunnerLive at the #dolbytheater last night. Amazing acoustics, and wild to see all the instrumentation. The movie wasn't bad either. Thanks Michael Whetstone for getting tix!

So yes, #bladerunnerlive was amazing. I hadn't seen the film on a big screen before, and loved the added dimension of a live score by an 11-piece ensemble. It made me appreciate the soundtrack and the movie all over again.

#bladerunnerlive was everything I hoped it would be; moving, exciting and emotionally charged. The music is a huge part of this film and to have it the focus of the showing is what gives it its energy.
I've never seen Blade Runner in the cinema. This was an amazing first time.
