The joy of tea & cake after a 12 mile walk! And we saw a newborn lamb, only minutes old, licked clean by the ewe & gently urged to its feet for its first milk.

A bright white plum blossom tree stands in the graveyard in front of the parish church, a listed building with parts dating back to the 12th century. To the right are some old houses, possibly used for clergy in the past. A bright blue sky makes the blossom seem to glow.

We don’t get out much but visiting a nearby village for a monthly Parkinson’s group coffee morning we passed the parish church and had to stop to photograph the amazing plum blossom outside. What an uplifting sight on a Monday morning.
