This linen-era postcard depicts the original terminal complex at Akron Municipal Airport in Akron, Ohio. We could grab international publicity out of it...and you could sign the first AFSCME contract in a blimp hovering 2000 feet over the Capitol." The memo is stapled to a larger paper (shown in other picture) and resting atop a folder labeled "Ohio Organization, 1972."

A letter dated November 15, 1972 from Richard Sailer of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company addressed to Les Finnegan. "Dear Mr. Finnegan, We are pleased to learn from your letter of November 6, 1972, that your airship press kit arrived in good order. Glad we could be of service. Regarding your specific question about the union status of our pilots, they do not belong to a union. Not surprising, when you consider there are only about 15 currently licensed lighter-than-air airship pilots in the world today."
