#Silurian stories, much like the #IceWarriors, worry me sometimes as they can sometimes just be a copy and paste edit from a previous one. Bloodtide is a tad too similar to others.
If anything #Bloodtide feels much more like #DoctorWhoandtheSilurians, and as such, is an ideal sequel to it.
#ColinBaker once again continues to shine on audio and actually shows what he could've been like as the Doctor, if the BBC hadn't removed him from the role.
Purely from the cover alone, I assumed #DoctorWho's #Bloodtide was going to be another pirate story featuring the #Silurians/#SeaDevils. As such, I was going to draw immediate comparisons to #LegendoftheSeaDevils, but fortunately this is nothing like it.
While useless against spears and especially explosives, wooden armor is used to reduce bruising during pre-war training.
