Flyer for the summer Point-in-time count and their need for volunteers. “Street and Shelter Point-in-Time Count Volunteers are also needed that day to canvass the county to identify those who may be living or sleeping outdoors. Ideally, 16 people are needed for each time slot. We are asking you to come and help take part in this street count by signing up now to help on July 30, 2025, between 7am and 5pm. The HARA is the lead agency for the PIT count and is located at Blue Water Community Action, 3403 Lapeer Rd, Port Huron, MI 48060. We have broken the day into 2-hour increments, and you may sign up for more than one time slot or the entire day if you wish. Those time slots are 7-9 am, 9-11 am, 11-1 pm, 1-3 pm and 3-5 pm. You will report first to the HARA, where you will be given an assigned area so that we can make sure the entire county is covered. Please email the Hara at HARA@bwcaa.org with your preferred time(s). We look forward to working with you on this very important mission!”
