We are NOT going to lose our #PublicHealth system quietly, but we’re going to need everyone to start showing up and making your voices heard. Here’s a start and there’s more to come!

Your #StClairCountyMI Board of “Health”, ladies & gentlemen! Speaker is the Co-Chair, & also the Co-Chair of the SCC Rep Party. She says “..MAGA says one thing, & MDHHS says another” re: public health. 🤷🏻♀️ She also forgot Tylenol is the Autism “culprit” & brings vaccines into it again. #publichealth
Today, the #StClairCountyMI advisory board of health voted to cease operation by the county of the PH Teen Health Clinic by 10-1-26. Dr. Nevin claims he will now be amenable to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) taking over the teen clinic. Keep in mind, when the Yale clinic closed 1/6
In little rural counties all over the U.S., we’re battling RFK jr wanna-be Public “Health” officers who are working day and night to undermine #publichealth, it’s terrifying. This is our Medical Director in #StClairCountyMI:

Protesters lining the street in front of a sidewalk. A telephone pole is on the right in front, with cars passing behind it. Protesters dressed for winter, snow in background. Signs say “Abolish Ice” “Ice Out for Good” and signs with peace signs on them.

#PortHuron #PublicHealth Medical Director of #StClairCountyMI Health Department informs the public that public health has changed, and some of us are grieving the “old way”. The new way appears to be promoting vaccine hesitancy and making it harder to receive the schedule rec’d by MDHHS & the APA.

Flyer for the summer Point-in-time count and their need for volunteers. “Street and Shelter Point-in-Time Count Volunteers are also needed that day to canvass the county to identify those who may be living or sleeping outdoors. Ideally, 16 people are needed for each time slot. We are asking you to come and help take part in this street count by signing up now to help on July 30, 2025, between 7am and 5pm. You will report first to the HARA, where you will be given an assigned area so that we can make sure the entire county is covered. Please email the Hara at HARA@bwcaa.org with your preferred time(s). We look forward to working with you on this very important mission!”
