#Taiwan #BluebirdMovement: A rally event to help #recall Hsu Chiao-hsin, youngest female legislator in the KMT caucus who used to be Ma Ying-jeou's post-presidency spokesperson, will be held this Sat (3/15) in #Taipei 景勤一號公園(吳興街220巷59弄旁，台北醫學院斜對面). Hsu has voted for Taiwan's detrimental budget cuts.
2025 will be the year of the "great recall" (大罷免) in Taiwan. Recall campaigns are underway in 51 legislative seats.
It's worth noting that, on the pan-green side at least, this is a citizen-led movement not party-led.

The march tonight ended with the #burning of a KMT flag, which I found quite disturbing, to be honest. Such escalatory stunts may lead to more violent confrontations, and an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind. I'm sharing this video for documentation and for people following the #BluebirdMovement.
The #KMT has deployed two guys with mics to disturb the #BluebirdMovement tonight. Standing outside the KMT HQ, the two men have been mocking every single speaker who took to the stage to address the protestors. People are chanting "Trash! Trash! Trash!" in an attempt to drown out the KMT's mockery.
