More craziness, with some esoteric explanations of what's happening. Very cool, creepy visuals, but glad it's ending with the next volume because it's getting kind of repetitive.

I gave this 8 hours (out of 37) and I couldn't take it anymore. The thought of reading 2 more long books after this one, at this pace was just too much. Just hours and hours of boring character background. It reminded me of Station Eleven, like there's this really cool stuff happening, but I'm instead going to talk about some lame normal stuff that happened before the cool stuff. I feel like things were eventually going to get exciting, but then I was traumatized thinking the author might introduce a new character occasionally and then I'd be subjected to 6 chapters of background on that character. No thanks.

Looking Glass by Christina Henry, 4 out of 5 Stars 2025: Book #26 Audio - 9 hours, 6 days to complete
I really enjoyed all the stories in this collection. It was great getting to hear a story about young Hatcher and getting some closure on Alice and Hatcher. I liked Elizabeth too (Alice's sister), she was actually a better magician than Alice and she didn't take crap from anybody. Definitely recommended if you've read the other books.
