I am SO excited about DJ Rotom and I really hope it comes to the main games!! Fun fact: For my Pokémon #BreakRPG rules, I use a boombox as an example of a custom Rotom appliance to illustrate that players can create their own!

Sometimes a single word or phrase is all it takes to open the flood gates of ideas. Was doing some world building for a #BreakRPG one shot and "solar array" just popped into my head. It quickly morphed into "Solarray" and suddenly the Shard Cities are financing a series of lantern towns.

For my #BREAKRPG one shot the main boss is an AI that's taken over a crashed ship and turned it into a robot factory. The players will need to go to multiple terminals around the factory floor and catwalks to shut the AI out of the various systems. Debating if this should be a megaboss or colossus.
Darcel can shape his hair into hands.
Hands that he can clearly express himself with.

I decided to make a new BREAK!!RPG character. His name is Darcel MacDhuibh. A white-collar worker who got isekai'd right before a mental break. So when he arrived, he snapped and became a violent mercenary to survive.

Spending some of this TG writing for my #BreakRPG one-shot. World building is so much fun, especially when starting with a setting with just enough info to get the creative juices flowing. "Here's a land in darkness with nomads, 'lantern towns', fungi forests, and roaming monsters. Have fun!"

Something that's come up every time I've tried to make a Pokémon #ttrpg is an issue with ranged attacks that doesn't come up in non-Pokémon games. In most fantasy adventure TTRPGs with combat, everyone has access to ranged attacks.

#PokemonBreakVersion I really like the Downtime system in #BreakRPG, and it also made it really easy to figure out how Pokémon Centers work: They let a Pokémon benefit from Downtime (with Heal an Injury as the only available Downtime Activity) in a single day!

#PokemonBreakVersion tidbit: "Overpowered" is now a game term with rules attached to it... Ironically, the Pokémon that necessitated I make it was Magikarp! 😂 It's for a system I knew I wanted but hadn't made yet, to deal with Pokémon jumping ranks when they evolve.
