I read this for the @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch book club & I really liked it. It’s listed as horror so I was apprehensive since I’m not that interested in that but I think living through the last 10 years have probably dull my senses to this kind of horror.

This was a read for the #BrightonBranch @bpl.boston.gov book club. It’s a fictional accounting of a lady pirate who may or may not have been real. It was a really interesting read since I haven’t read many pirate stories.

I read this for the @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch #BookClub & actually went to the meeting for the first time ever. I’ve been reading along with them for 2 or 3 years but it’s right during the dinner time/bedtime transition so I’ve never made it in to a meeting.
I happen to be reading this on #InternationalOwlAwarenessDay for the @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch #BookClub & let me tell you, the owls are not the good guys in this one 😳. Also, very subversive for a library book club to read a horror book set in a library.
@bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch has what to read based on your zodiac sign recommendations so I’ll have to check these out, the fact that there’s a David Grann book on there is promising. #BookSky 📚💙

I read 16 books - 12 fiction & 4 nonfiction, most a result of my out of control hold list from the library. Ironically, the one book I actually own was for the @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch book club.

I read this for @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch book club. I’d never read it before but I know the story of the radio broadcast. It was not at all what I expected & it was interesting to read it while trying to imagine how it was experienced listening on the radio.
Black Water Sister was for the @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch book club & I plan to buy How Fascism Works & On Tyranny because I think those are important to have in my home library, especially in light of book bans.

This was the read for @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch book club this month. I don’t do audio that often but it is what was available. I think the narrator was good but the book felt like it went on longer than it should have.

This was the @bpl.boston.gov #BrightonBranch book club pick for the month. There was another book by this author picked 2 years ago that I absolutely hated so I had trepidations but this one wasn’t as bad. Audio was what was available, I don’t know if that made a difference for me
