@badgertrust.bsky.social I've set up three camera traps for #Brockwatch. Unfortunately sheep have taken a liking to a post one of cameras is mounted on, rubbing against and generally hanging about it. Is it ok to relocate a camera to a new site or should I continue to use it throughout the study?

Quick look at the #Brockwatch trap footage prior to uploading it and got a welcome surprise: we do have badgers. The camera caught a badger moving from a dry field to investigate a more boggy one. Not the best, might have to trim some of the foliage which the camera seems to be focusing upon.

Uploaded the first batch of photos from the trailcams I've set up for #Brockwatch. Nothing too exciting so far, hoping after the coldsnap there might be a little more activity. In addition to photos for the project, Im taking video too. Most interesting so far is a M pheasant displaying to a F.

Nothing too exciting so far on the #Brockwatch trail cams when I checked yesterday, perhaps a pheasant. The IKEA rechargeable batteries are fine with the cold snap, so after making a slight adjustment to where one is pointing I'm going to leave them alone for a few days to minimise disturbance.

Trailcams set up for the @badgertrust.bsky.social's #Brockwatch. A little late, but hopefully will be of some use. I'm not sure if we have badgers in the fields, though possibly polecats in the wider area. Will be interesting to see if they capture anything. Will give it a few days and then check.
