Vincent Schiavelli as John O'Connor, John Lithgow as Lord John Whorfin, and Christopher Lloyd as John Bigbooté from the 1984 docudrama The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. This documented the attempted invasion of Earth by the Red Lectroids from Planet 10 by way of the 8th Dimension. They were thwarted from stealing Banzai's Oscillation Overthruster, a device that could be used to move through solid matter to the 8th Dimension. The documentary showed the bravery of Banzai and his team, the Hong Kong Cavaliers as they stopped the Red Lectroids and prevented the Black Lectroids from vaporizing a city in Russia in a strike that would start WWIII.

On this day in 1938, the Red Lectroids led by Lord John Whorfin sent an invasion force to Grovers Mill, NJ. Orson Welles reported it, but was then hypnotized to say it was a radio hoax. #BuckarooBanzai
