Some better news from Burnham Ferry in that a potential new owner has come forward with reports that a deal that would see the ferry across the #RiverCrouch operate again this summer is close. #BurnhamOnCrouch
Official figures for January show that 1257 trains called at #BurnhamonCrouch #Southminster #Althorne and #NorthFambridge on the Crouch Valley line and that only 1.27% or 8 trains, going from Wickford to Southminster and back were cancelled.
Notice has been given by @essex.gov.uk Highways that High Street, #BurnhamonCrouch will be closed for resurfacing form AM 5 March 2025 to PM 11 March 2025. That will no doubt cause major problems given the high percentage of the shops, pubs and cafes in that area.
Burnham Ferry have announced that their ferry service across the Crouch to Wallasea will resume on 1 April 2025. #BurnhamonCrouch
